Ground Beef



 All of these need the ground beef browned in a pan and to they are to be put in 2 aluminum pans each, cooled and then frozen and cooked in the oven.

I buy the pans from the dollar store round or square which ever you prefer. 

These I do last because they involve a lot more cooking and preparing then the others.



1.  Lasagna 

      1 lb ground beef
      1 medium Onion, chopped
      1 tsp Salt
      1 tsp Garlic powder
      1 Jar  Spaghetti Sauce (I use Ragu)
      1 pint Cottage Cheese
      1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
      2 tbsp dried Parsley
      4 oz. Lasagna Noodles, cooked to al dente and cooled in cold water
      2 cups shredded Mozzarella Cheese 

Combine ground beef, onion, salt and garlic powder. Cook under med-high until browned and tender. Drain and put back into skillet. Add spaghetti sauce.
In a separate bowl combine cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese and dried parsley. Mix well.

*Layering Lasagna*  Sauce, noodles, Mozzarella cottage cheese mix repeat until everything is gone.

Write on the pan: cover and bake in 350 degrees oven for 40-45 minutes 

2. Shepherds Pie
          1 lb ground beef
          1 can tomato soup
          1 bag mixed vegetables
          1 tsp salt
          1 tsp pepper
          1 tsp garlic powder
          1 tsp onion powder
          1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
          2 cups instant potatoes - cooked -
          2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Brown meat in pan, mix in soup, salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, Worcestershire sauce and vegetables. Layer in aluminum pan meat & vegetable mix taters and then cheese.
Write on pan: Thaw in fridge over night, bake at 350° for 20-30 mins

3. Cabbage Rolls
      
      1 lb ground beef
      1 head of cabbage
      2 cups rice uncooked
      2 cans diced tomatoes do not drain
      1 onion
      2 garlic gloves minced
      1 can of tomato juice

Brown meat, garlic and onion in pan, mix in rice and tomatoes mix well. While that is cooking boil your cabbage until you can pull off the leafs. Once you have them off put your beef mix into leafs and roll them up. Put them in your aluminum pan until pan is full. (Sometimes you can get more then two pans out of this recipe) Once all pans are full pour tomato juice over them. Cover and cool 

Write on pan: Thaw in fridge over night, bake at 375° for 60 mins covered

4.  Goulash
      1 lb ground beef
      1 chopped onion
      1 can tomato soup
      2 tbsp Italian seasoning 
      2 garlic cloves
      1 tsp black pepper
      1 tsp salt
      2 cups cooked elbow noodles
      2 cups shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
Brown beef in pan with onion, garlic, salt, pepper and Italian seasoning. Cook noodles as box says. Combine everything in aluminum pans and top with cheese.
Write on pan: Thaw in fridge over night, bake at 350° for 30-40 mins

5. Tater-Tot Casserole
     1 lb ground beef
     1 cup of peas
     1 cup of corn
     1 can cream of mushroom soup
     1 tsp oregano
     1 tsp salt
      1 tsp pepper
    1 bag frozen tater tots
     2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Brown beef in pan with oregano, salt and pepper. Mix in peas, corn soup mix well. Layer your mix then tater tots in aluminum pan until everything is full. Add cheddar cheese on top. 
Write on pan: Thaw in fridge over night, bake at 375° for 45 mins
