Shop--Prep--Freeze--Enjoy!

I know a lot of you have been asking how I make all the freezer meals so I'm going to let you know here. If you really really really need my help please let me know and I might be able to.

Be prepared it's going to be a long entry but you asked for it. These recipes will allow you to prep, freeze, and then oven or crock-pot cook the dinners. I kept thinking it would be hard to do and that it would cost tons of money, along with thinking that Eric wouldn't like a lot of the foods that i wanted to try. But most are really good.

So I this is how i do it .

1. Find and write down every recipe (I hand write everything but you can type them if you want) directions. At this time if you want to double your recipe you should but most of what i will post for you will make two bag/pans at a time.

2.  Then I go though every recipe and write down a list of items food, spice's and others. Each have there own page. You will see why next ;-)

3. Take the three pages you just wrote into your kitchen start with your spice list. Go though your spices and see what you have. If you have it cross it off your list and you won't need to buy it. Once you bought it after your first big shopping trip all your others trios won't cost as much. Spices are a lot of money so check your local dollar, family dollar and big lots they have them and work just as well *same goes for your chicken broth, honey and some other things you will need*
Next is your food list do the same if you have cans of food like carrots, peas, soups and crackers etc etc that are on the list mark them off. I have used up a lot of food that I forgot that we had.
Last list should be everything else you need i.e.  aluminum Foil, freezer bags, aluminum pans, permanent marker, and paper towels for your clean up ;-)

Now shop..shop shop..I will tell you this Sams club is your best bet for your packs of Hamburger and Chicken and believe it or not the huge bag of onions. If you have time coupon your butt off and check out sales to lower your prices..then pick a day within the next 2 days after you have everything to prepare everything. Once you do that get everything you need out and i mean everything. Even if you have to bring a table into your kitchen you want everything out. I find it easier to see everything plus i take photos of before and after.

For every recipe that I will give you, you will need either two freezer bags or two pans. The way I do it everything that goes in the crock pot will be put into freezer bags. Everything that goes into the oven will go into aluminum pans. Make sure you write on the bag before you fill it..you want to write the name, date, crock-pot and how long you cook it and or oven and how long you cook along with the temp.

I'm going to break down the recipes by

All of these are freezer bag recipes and to be cooked in a crock-pot
