Beef Stew Meat & Sausage Recipes



Please remember when using these recipes they are meant to be divided into two freezer bags.
1. Slow Cooker Beef Barley Stew
    1 lb Beef Stew Meat, diced small
    2 cups sliced or chopped carrot
    2 cups chopped onion 
    1 cup chopped celery
    6 Cups Water
    1 tsp parsley flakes
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tsp granulated sugar
    4 TBSP Beef Bouillon powder
    1 cup pearl barley
    1 can tomato sauce

Write on bag: Low 8 hours, high 4

2.  Beef  Fajitas

       2 pounds beef strip meat
       2 cans diced tomatoes 
       1 large onion cut in to strips 
       1 green pepper cut into strips
       1 red pepper cut into strips
       2 tsp cilantro
       2 cloves garlic minced 
       2 tsp chili powder
       2 tsp cumin
       2 tsp salt
       2 tsp pepper

Write on Bag: Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours..

3. Pepper Steak

         2 pounds beef strip meat
         2 tbs olive oil
         1 cup soy sauce 
         2 cloves of garlic minced
         1 cup chopped onion
         1 tsp sugar
         1 tsp salt
         1 tsp pepper
         1 tsp ginger
         2 green peppers cut into strips
         1  can diced tomatoes
         1 cup water
         2 tbs cornstarch (Do not add to bag at this time)

Write on Bag:  During the last few minutes of cooking at the cornstarch. Cook low 6 hours or high 4 hours

4. Chinese Beef and Broccoli
   
    2lb beef stew meat
    1 can beef broth
    1 cup soy sacuce
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 tbs garlic minced
    2 tbs cornstarch
    2 cups white rice
    1 bag frozen broccoli -added last 30 mins

Write on bag:  low 5-6 hours

5. Sweet Sausage and Peppers

       6  Sweet Italian Sausage
       1 green pepper, sliced
       1 red  pepper, sliced
       1 yellow  pepper, sliced
       1 large onion, sliced
       4 garlic cloves, minced
       2 cans Italian diced tomatoes
       2 tbs Italian seasoning

Write on Bag: Cook on low 8 hours or high 4 hours.

6.  Sausage and Cheesy Hash browns

     4 smoked sausage, cut bite sized
     2 cans chedder cheese
     1 cup buttermilk
     2 tbsp butter
     1 tsp garlic powder
     2 tsp paprika
     1 tsp pepper
     2 tsp seasoned salt
     2 lbs frozen shredded hash browns
     1 cup Parmesan cheese

Write on bag:  cook low 4-5 hours
